Tony and I grew up together on March Lane, we played every sport that you could think of with my brother Paul and the Caprio boys and Mike Fenton, we used to call Tony "Kate' " he and I would walk to Clarke H.S. every morning, one summer we rode around the neighborhood on our bikes pulling our lawn mowers to make some money, I will miss you Kate'(Tony) see you on the other side

He Let Me Sing there - Flo left a message on June 29, 2025:
I met Tony before the pandemic. We became instant friends. One day we drove to the LI Theatre Museum, and we'd take pictures in stupid silly poses in front of the sculptures. We were in stitches. We had the best fun and the best laughs. He introduced me to the owner who let me sing at SaVino's on the weekends once a month. That was one of my best singing gigs, the atmosphere was exceptional because of Tony and everyone knew it - and he was the kindest to all my friends and family. I started checking in with him weekly and even his Mom passed, and would pass the telephone to my Mother who would have long conversations with Tony asking him how he was doing. We cared for him. I''d meet up with him on Mondays at the sushi place. Tony was a machine - consistent, kind, loyal, and humble that SaVino's was his life and enjoyed every minute of it. I admired that. I haven't heard from him and when I found this link my heart was crushed. Tony, may God be holding you always in His loving arms. You are home. I love you my dear friend. I be talking to you in my prayers, dearest Friend. God Love You and keep you close. Amen.

I've known Tony since 1st grade and being in the boyscout's and in. The 4th and 5th and the 6th grade a lot of our friends would go to Tony's house and make films like he was the six million dollar man and we made so many of them and ever time I would see him he always had that warm feeling about all of his friends and now I would love for Tony and his family to have peace knowing that he was a fantastic person and an amazing friend who I will miss until we meet in heaven, God Bless you and your family and thanks for being my friend Daniel Carroll #63

Ran into Tony one night when I walked into 17 Murray St in downtown NYC where he was bartending. I would hang out with Tony and Art Shamsky who owned the bar. Spent many nights taking the train home together after he got off of work. Beautiful soul who will be missed.
