Antoinette MaccaroneNovember 1, 1949-November 26, 2024Antoinette was born in Brooklyn and moved to West Islip with her family when she was a young girl. After graduating from West Islip High School, Antoinette went on to attend FIT where she earned a degree that led her to a career in fashion in New York City. Antoinette loved creating things, taking ceramics classes, learning to cross stitch, and sewing doll clothes for her nieces. An avid cook, Antoinette devoured cookbooks looking for new recipes to try and everyone wanted to be invited to dinner. After retiring, she enjoyed attending car shows with her husband and spending time with her grandkids. Antoinette is survived by her husband of 45 years, Anthony Maccarone, her brother Adolph Agnello (Marilyn), her brothers-in-law Earl Reyes and Joe (Fran) Maccarone, her sister-in-law Joann (Danny) Bianculli, her nieces Azuree (Dennis) Agnello-Parks, Elizabeth Reyes, and Jeannine (Joe) Noce, her daughter-in-law Dawn, and her grandkids Anthony, Dominic, and Carmine Maccarone. Antoinette was a wonderful person with a beautiful heart and she will be missed.
