Both Phil and I are heartbroken, Ove was our best friend --every week he'd come visit with his dog Ranger. I thought it odd he did not come over that week, and knew he was to go to our doctor the 22nd, thought we'd wait until then to call, see how he made out - unfortunately we only found out 4 days after his death that he passed & never made it to the doctor -- we knew he was not looking well for many months but had no clue he was as ill as he apparently was. We did see him about 10 days before his passing and although very thin looking, we laughed, had coffee, visited as we always did and he did not seem "that bad" to me and I was confident our Dr would be able to help him. We are devastated by the loss of our good friend but confident we shall be together once again in a far better place. Goodbye Ove; we miss you!

I send my sympathy to all his friends he was loved by many people but now he's in peace in heaven and will be missed but his memories will always be there I remember him years ago when I would in New York and he came to Florida once he had his best friend living right across the street from him they were good support for each other 4 years so my prayers go out to you all amen

So many wonderful memories of you. Our Moms knew each other from Norway, and we became instant friends. You were one of my best friends ever, since the day we met. You'll always hold a special place in my heart. I know you're in a better place now,. My tears are shed for me on how much I'll miss you. Until we meet again, and walking the streets of Gold together with our loved ones, sleep in Heavenly Peace, my dear Ove. Love you forever!

How sad a day for me to learn of Ove's passing. We and our parents came over to the US on the same boat. We spent many of our childhood days together. Went on vacations together. Our families had Thanksgiving together for over 20 years. I have such great memories of our times together. I will miss Ove greatly. Good bye my friend. Thor
