To Barney's family and friends,I had the privilege to work with Barney during my many years at the City University Central Office. As Vice Chancellor for Budget, I worked most closely with Barney when it came to matters of funding for York College. He was passionate about the college and its students and while he advocated strongly on their behalf, he always did so in a collegial fashion. I recall his retirement party and the outpouring of praise and affection from all attendees. He was a true gentleman and I feel fortunate to have known him.
