Betty Ann Cassano

July 3, 1936– September 12, 2024

Betty Ann Cassano was born on July 3, 1936 in New York City to Anna and George Rushanna. Betty had two dear brothers, George and Charles, who preceded her in passing. Betty is survived by her three children–Laura (Ernest), Donna (Thomas) and Richard (Robin) and instilled in them a love of learning, travel, books and music among many other things. Betty had an independent spirit, high work ethic and was known for always being “dressed to the nines.”  Betty enjoyed her work at Honeywell for many years and retired at 70 years of age. Betty so loved her seven grandchildren–Jennifer, Stephen, Michael, Robert, Kelly, Ashley, and Nicholas. She also had six great grandchildren–Stefano, Kristen, Cristian, Luca, Jack, and Jackson who she adored.  Betty took great comfort in her faith and carried the cross in her pocketbook each day as a reminder of her many blessings. Betty was loved by her family and loyal friends and will be sorely missed. May God bless and watch over our beloved mother and grandmother. A private service and burial will take place to honor Betty.
