We were so saddened to learn of Carol-Lee’s passing. She was such a kind and loving lady. I met Carol-Lee in the mid-1970’s. My first introduction to the Schwarting-Spears family was at a party. I was young and nervous to meet so many new members of my husband-to-be’s family. Carol Lee chatted with me and made me feel so welcome. Years later we were at a family wedding and by this time, I had children of my own. My oldest daughter, Veronica, was about 11 years old at the time, and while we were waiting outside the church for the bride and groom to emerge, she was curious about the limousine, having never seen one before. Carol- Lee took Veronica over to the limo and invited her to come inside of it to have a look. It was quite a thrill for my daughter. Carol-Lee noticed that Veronica had forgotten to wear earrings to the wedding, and so between the ceremony and reception, she stopped and bought her a pair to wear at the reception. Such a seemingly small act, but so typical of the type of caring person she was. Carol-Lee was such a special lady. My deepest sympathy to all of her family. She will be missed.

Carol Lee was so good to my husband and I and also our children We met her through Scouts. Later we found out she attended our church, St Andrews Lutheran. She always had a smile (and an infectious laugh) She attended our daughter’s Gold Award ceremony and our son’s Eagle Court. What a wonderful, beautiful person. Sorry we cannot say goodbye in person as we no longer live on Long Island. She will always be remembered by all of the Palmer family. God Bless her

It is with such sorrow that we write. Our condolences are to Jesse and her family. She put up a good fight for as long as possible. Carol Lee was more than a friend to us. She was family. The endless memories we will treasure will help us deal with losing her. She was so full of life and wit. She was a good listener, a dear friend, and always tried to help solve a problem. We are honored to have been her friend. Til we meet again.❤️❤️Debbie & Bill
