Charles Dylan “Charlie” Nelson, born on September 19, 1979, in Bayside, New York, passed away on December 5, 2024. Beloved son of Debra and Charles Nelson. Treasured brother to Michele (Brother in law Joe) and Brian (formerly deceased). Cherished uncle to Autumn, Violet, and Lyla. Adored godfather to Brennan and the “fun uncle” to his friends’ children. Loved nephew and cousin to many.

Charlie deeply valued his circle of friends as they treated him like family. His greatest joy was living authentically surrounded by those who reveled in his gigantic personality.

Charlie was the loudest and largest presence in any room. He was incredibly loyal and loved others fiercely. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, Disney, traveling, his dog, Lola, and making memories with his family and friends. He never took no for an answer and lived his life to the absolute fullest on his own terms.He had the ability to make anyone feel welcomed at the table and gave giant bear hugs that left traces of his cologne everywhere. His laugh was infectious and will most likely still be heard from heaven. There could never be another Charlie, and he will live on in our hearts forever.

Charlie Thankyou for spending thanksgiving with us you will be truly missed May god keep you safe in heaven you brought a lot of joy to my son James and I know that he will miss you beyond words god bless you until we meet again .
