David was well respected and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him . It was an honor to have been his colleague for the past 10 years. His positive energy , willingness to always help and love for his family will forever resonate with me. I am truly sadden by his passing. May he rest in peace.

Having known David since our college days, he was always one for a good story or sharing what would become a lifetime experience. But one thing is certain, his love for Rita & Jessica, it knew no bounds. WE will miss you my friend, R.I.P. David !!

It was my honor to work with David for many years and a greater honor to call him friend. We are all sadden to learn of Dave's passing. Dave was a friend to all whom had the pleasure to know him. Dave's devotion and love of family is a model for all of us. Dave was truly inspirational in the way he bravely handled the last few years. We will have memories of an exceptional individual!

Dave was one of the good guys. He would do anything to help out a friend. He always put his family and friends first. He was extremely proud of his daughter, Jess and his beautiful wife Rita. I will cherish the memories of our good times at ODU, our reunions and other times together. I was fortunate to have known him. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace my friend.

This dear friend will never be forgotten. From our college days at ODU, then staying in touch over the years, during our annual reunions in Virginia Beach, as well as trips to Manhattan. Dave put his family and friends first. His love for Rita and Jessica knew no bounds. We all couldn’t wait to hear about Jess’ newest accomplishment or Rita & Dave’s recent vacation. He touched so many lives and was one of a kind. I am beyond blessed that he allowed me to be his friend for so many years.

My deepest condolences to Rita and Jessica. It was my honor and pleasure knowing David, he was person of the highest caliber and his family was his beacon of light. I will miss him dearly and grateful for all he taught me as a colleague and friend. Dave lead by example and he will never be forgotten. God has another angel in heaven.

Rest in peace to the most kind hearted person ever. I will never forget the countless basketball memories me dave and jess made throughout the years. Thank you for teaching me how to play basketball and all the memories.

Dave was one of the good guys. When you met Dave, you immediately felt he was a people person. He was compassionate and kind. He always had a minute to spare and a story to share. Dave fought a courageous battle for close to ten years and is to be admired for the being such a tireless and fierce warrior. When you spent time with Dave either alone or in a small group two things became crystal clear, first is how much he loved Rita and second is how proud he was of Jess. Dave was an accomplished banker, who kept close to the friends he grew up with, those he met in college and the dozens more he made during his lifetime. He will be greatly missed and long remembered.

One of funniest and most genuine people I have ever met. He always knew how to put a smile on my face and I'll miss him dearly.

I have known David as a colleague at the bank for over 20 years. There was a long stretch of time when I would eat lunch everyday at work with David. We had so many great conversations. I so enjoyed his passion for work; life and his family. Two of David’s favorite topics were Jessica and Rita. David enjoyed so much researching and finding the “best” of everything. We would discuss home repair and cars and vacations and weekends. I could always ask Dave for advice on our banking work. I am going to miss his smile and his welcoming voice. Rita and Jessica: I'm not sure what I'm suppose to say. I'm heartbroken and I can't imagine what two must feel. We met on the LIRR a little more than 20 years ago.
