Donald Thomas Decker of Massapequa, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 on March 31, 2022. Predeceased by his Beloved Wife, Virginia of 74 years. Loving Father of Virginia, Helen, Michael, Kathleen, Marylou, Patricia and the late Donald Jr. and their spouses, Jack, the late Elaine, the late John, Eileen, Jimmy, and Artie. Most Loving Grandfather to John, Eileen, Keith, Donny, Patrick, John, Timmy, Michael, Brian, Greg, Marybeth (late), Katie, Kristin, Kathleen, Jimmy, Eileen, Julie and Jackie and Cherished Great-Grandfather to 36 great-grandchildren. Born in Brooklyn, a WWII Veteran who proudly served 20 years in the Navy. Worked at the MTA for 20 years and handyman on Kismet, F.I. 20 years plus. AOH and FRA Member. Lived for his family and helping others. He gave us great memories.

I was fortunate to know Uncle Don for many years in Kismet----while he was a valued handyman and later as a valued next door neighbor. I enjoyed his interesting stories about his life and experiences....but his eyes really sparkled when he spoke of his children and his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He was very proud of all of you! Uncle Don will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences, Maureen
