Mom, you were a strong and powerful woman, and I am so thankful that you were my mom and my best friend. We shared everything with each other we laughed and cried. There is not a person who met you that did not take an instant likeness to you. You made everyone feel at home and important. You were from the greatest generation that sacrificed and endured. You lived thru many tragic and soul crushing events and came out the other side. There was always a smile on your face, a kind word and a helping hand to all. You will be greatly missed by all; the lights have dimmed for us now that you are gone. I love you.
