Roy and I were so sad to hear Doug passed. Here are some photos of happier times at the 1968 50th class reunion taken in 2018. Roy was so happy to be among his fraternity brothers and spent most of the night at the bar spending time with his older classmates from class of 67. It was a great night. Our deepest condolences to Rita and the entire Wenz family. Rest peacefully Doug. You will be missed by many.

Rita, I am so sorry for your loss. May his name be for a memory for you and your family. As you know, I had a big crush on Dougie when we were in High School. I always cared about him and was glad that I had the opportunity to tell him so. He will be missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Doug, I can still remember you smiling as you went walking through the halls of Island Trees in that Black shiny cool jacket . I remember you surprising me by lifting me up during the senior follies and the laughs that we had . You were a bright light in high school and the world . I send you tons of blessings as you bravely face this next part of life journey and I will keep you in my prayers. Bonnie Spence

I always looked over at your garage or driveway to see if you were out and around. Seeing you out and around we waved at each other. Very often we walked towards each other meeting and talking and laughing. So much advice and help you offered me over the years. So sad to not see you tinkering in the garage. Gonna miss our talks and laughs.
