When I think of Bud the words humility and heroism come to mind.
When asked about serving our country as a very young man he discussed his experience with humble reflection. He proudly served at the end of the WWll in Okinawa, Japan. A gentle giant, Bud inspired his grandchildren and extended family through a life well lived. After spending a short time with him it was apparent his greatest joy was his family. I am grateful to have known him. Let the Perpetual Light shine upon him.
