Our beloved Mrs. "D" was an original. You have been part of my life & my extended family like another mother. There have been so many good times shared, holidays celebrated and laughs along the way - too numerous to recount. As a mother and friend you were a generous teacher and always gave so much love and friendship that I and my family will always treasure. I will miss you very much. You will stay in my prayers always. Joanie

Dear D's,We were so saddened to hear of Estelle's passing. I had selfishly hoped for another holiday event to sit, talk and laugh with her. The Albright/Mongada events won't be the same without Estelle's presence and her phenomenal cooking. For not living nearby, I have many great memories of her; the year 2000 New Year's celebration at her ski house, taking the Duck Tour in Boston, sharing a gin and tonic on our deck, all the events at the Mongada household, the Albright household, etc. We'll always remember Estelle fondly and feel lucky that we had the pleasure of knowing her.A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again. ~Maya Angelou

Love and miss you, Aunt Estelle. We were so happy to see you this summer. Ed recalls how you first instilled in him a love of cooking and the many summers you and his Long Island family cared for him. You gave him experiences he still treasures today and you all played a very important role in his young life. We gave you a bouquet of flowers on our wedding day as a symbol of your many years of marriage to Uncle Angelo. What a very special couple you were. I'll never forget our fun times at the ski cabin, especially those games of Rummy-O! We are thinking of all of you during this difficult time and love you all very much.
