I would run into Gene on my way into work wearing hie Irush sweater, blue eyes twinkling, he'd say, "Here comes trouble!" I would respond, "I think I just ran into trouble!" We'd laugh and shoot the breeze a bit. He always made me smile. His humor, smile and laughter will be truly missed.

my dear gene, my heart hurts, I have known you for 51 yrs, and always enjoyed talking and laughing with you, and your family. You always knew how much I lived Eugene."..God be good to him and you. You will be missed.
