Eugene (Gene) Brozio, formally of Massapequa Park, New York, passed away on Saturday, May 21 in Westford, Massachusetts. Gene was born in New York, NY on October 9, 1929. Gene is predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy and son Frank.Gene was a Korean War veteran. He spent 30 years with the New York Police Department, where he rose through the ranks and retired as a Deputy Inspector. After retirement, Gene enjoyed international travel with his wife. He and Dorothy also enjoyed weekend trips and excursions with their many friends. In later years Gene greatly enjoyed his role as grandfather. He recently moved to Massachusetts to live with his daughter and her family, and he enjoyed spending his time with his three grandchildren. His love for and dedication to his family was immeasurable.Gene leaves behind his daughter Ann (Brozio) Miller, his son-in-law Robin Miller, and three grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary and Abigail Miller, all of Westford, Massachusetts.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish, 107 North Main Street, Westford, MA 01886.
