The Taylor and Marschhausen families held a close bond for many years. I grew up admiring all the laughs and hilarious moments my parents (Albert and Mae Taylor) shared with George and Maike. I will never forget the Steak Tar Tar/Schnapps parties, the sauna escapades, times spent enjoying Long Pond, Belgrade Lakes, and of course our lives in Massapequa. My husband and I also reaped the rewards of George’s vast engineering knowledge with his advice on our building projects. Due to his expertise, these buildings will never fall down. George was a classy guy; kind, generous, and loved by all. He truly will be missed.

I worked closely with George while I was at AIU in NYC (1983-1990) and traveled the world with him. He was a friend, teacher, and true professional and more importantly a gentlemen. Kind regards and condolences. Bill Kramer
