I just heard about the passing of Mr. Monk through a childhood friend. I have such warm memories of him and growing up with a Kelly. My deepest condolences to the Monk Family.

To have the Monks as neighbors was our lucky break over 40 years ago. Jerry was a supportive neighbor and friend who came running with his wrenches to help us all with plumbing problems.
He was such a proud father who brought up four successful children along with his loving wife Susie.
We will miss Jerry’s “voice” that we always heard before we actually saw him.
The Monks backyard parties are wonderful memories. So here’s to you Jerry as you become the ultimate entertainer in heaven.

problem. He was totally devoted to family and giving praise to his wife Susie.

Gerry was not only my roommate, he was a good friend. We shared many things together especially the love of our families. He was so proud of all the members of his family and was always surrounded with photos of your fond memories together. He was a proud Marine and was so pleased when he was recognized for his service. I enjoyed playing Bingo and poker with him. I'm going to miss his smile, his friendship and him telling me what to do. May he Rest In Peace.
