Henry (Hank) Bandhold Sr. formerly of North Merrick NY and currently of the Villages, Florida
passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at his place of residence with his wife by his side. He was born November 9, 1933, a son of the late Henry G. and Nita (Arata) Bandhold.

Hank was a graduate of Freeport High School (Long Island NY). While a student he was President of the schools General Organization (student council) and as an athlete he lettered in
both football and lacrosse. He was co-captain of both teams.

Upon graduation Hank married his high school sweetheart Joy Ebbets, served in the US Army
and was honorably discharged and soon after acquired a job with AIL (Airborne Instrument
Laboratories). He then began working his way up the ladder, eventually obtaining the position
of Manufacturing and Production Lead Supervisor. A change in venue to EDO corporation
was his last stop before retirement and a move out of North Merrick, NY to the Villages, FL put
him in the sunshine.

He is survived by his devoted wife and companion Janet Holt, his sons Henry J. Jr and Donald C., his brother Paul S. (Kathy), his grandchildren Bridget Stone (Travis), Stacy Eliassen (Dana), Ryan, Kristen (Andrew), Mariana, Afonso and his great grandchildren Aidan, Kali and Abigail. Hank was proceeded in death by his first wife Joy, his daughter-in-law Karen (Bliss), and
youngest son Scott M.

There will be a gravesite memorial service at Pinelawn Memorial cemetery in Farmingdale, NY
on January 19 at 1:00 pm.
