It is with great sadness that I ve learned of the passing of my favorite Unc. He was very present in our young lives so I have wonderful memories of the antics that he was always up to with his beloved nephew Bob. He was adored by his sister Linda who helped raise him. He will hold a special place in my heart. I hope he is making those banana splits and spilling the colored sprinkles all over heaven. I can hear them laughing already. Miss you Unc. Ricki (roz)

Was so sad to learn of Izzy’s passing. We met right before his bar mitzvah on the corner of Sheridan Avenue in the Bronx. We were a couple during those adolescent years and I will treasure those memories until it is my time to go. The last three decades, we have emailed and exchanged birthday wishes. One year, he sent me a handmade shell decorated with the name only he called me, “Mo”. The photo was taken in is my house when he was 14. So cute then and so sweet in what he remembered from so long ago. RIP, my friend. Condolences to his family.
