Jadwiga Kleczek, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 4, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 31, 1954, in Skawina, Poland, she completed her pharmacy degree at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where she met her beloved husband, Adam.
Jadwiga and Adam welcomed two wonderful children, Grzegorz and Agnieszka, into their lives. Initially working at a hospital pharmacy, she later opened her own private pharmacy. In 1996, at the age of 42, she immigrated to the United States with her family, seeking new opportunities for their kids. Supporting Adam as he returned to dental school, she played an instrumental role in establishing his first dental practice in Queens, NY, where they worked side by side for the next 25 years, contributing to its success.
Family was the cornerstone of Jadwiga’s life. She took immense pride in her four grandchildren—Natalia (19), Sebastian (15), Henryk (10), and Emilia (8)—ensuring she was actively involved in their lives and always ready to lend a helping hand.
Jadwiga was a beacon of positivity, with a smile that could brighten the cloudiest of days. Her warmth and kindness provided comfort to all fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strength, and her infectious spirit.
Jadwiga’s legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who loved her.
