Jean Milea Sanfilippo, a beloved wife sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away on April 27th, 2023.  She was born on June 23, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, to loving parents who instilled in her the values of hard work, compassion and family.  Jean was a devoted wife to her late husband, Gus Sanfilippo, whom she married on April 27, 1952.  Together they built a life filled with love, laughter and endless memories.  She was a pillar of strength and support to her family, always putting their needs before her own.  Her dedication to her family was evident in everything she did.  She cherished her role as a mother to her three children, grandmother to her six grandchildren and great-grandmother to her five great-grandchildren.  In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Jean was a friend to many.  Her kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Jean leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and strength.  Her memory will live on through her family, who will always cherish the moments they shared with her.  She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Jean.
