Jeff, my dearest friend, you were always a star that shined brightly, always giving of yourself for your family ,loved ones and volunteering in support of transplantation, a true gift of life. I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of having lunch with Jeff when Susan and I would visit NYC, and Susan would spend time with her research colleagues. I was free for a good chin wag—also, all those childhood memories when Aunt Sue and the boys would visit Central City. Brian and Susan Sesack

Jeff is (yes, "is" ) one in a million. In all his many, many trials here on earth I never heard him complain! He worked continually, through good days and bad, to educate thousands of school kids about the need for organ donation. Who knows how many precious lives are saved as a result of his efforts! I'm glad I told him several times that he is the bravest person I have ever known. Surely our great God knows him and embraces him and Barbara, Chris & Ryan.

My deepest condolences to his family. I was blessed to work with Jeff when he started his legacy of speaking in schools to educate and advocate for Organ Donation. Jeff never gave up speaking and his family was just as committed to help. He will be missed by every 💚 he has touched. His legacy will live on forever. 💚🌹
