MCGOWAN – John G., 59, a resident of Massapequa Park, had passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday January 16, 2016 after a very brave battle against pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy McGowan, their children: John McGowan of South Carolina, Michael McGowan (Jennifer) of Levittown and Kathleen McGowan of Massapequa Park, also survived by his loving grandchildren, Addison McGowan, and Colin McGowan. Also survived by his dear mother Jean McGowan and mother-in-law, Margaret Geiss-man; sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Our family will always be thankful for the support and friendship of many friends, neighbors and relatives.
