John Peter Zontini, 61, of Oceanside, New York passed away on November 8, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband to Ann Zontini, son of Robert and Grace Zontini, Father to Jennifer, Christina (Terry), Joseph, grandfather to Vincenzo and Luca, brother to William, Grace, Loretta, Margaret, Robert and Joan, uncle to many nieces and nephews.

John loved his time with family and LOVED the holidays. He enjoyed Christmas music and movies year-round. At Christmastime, he especially loved making crispelli and ensuring he had blessed everyone with a giant flour handprint. His nieces, nephews, and grandchildren could always count on him to make them laugh and be ridiculously silly. He also loved his dog Elsie, a rescue from North Shore Animal League. She was definitely glued to John’s side at all times.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
