I hardly knew John as kids. Even though we're first cousins, he was older than me by about 5 years. All I knew is he flew off to live in Colorado, which was just crazy back in the 70's! It was exotic and like going to another world. I couldn't wrap myself around such a move back then. We were so insulated! I hadn't seen John in probably 50 years, until a chance meeting with cousin Tim led to a reunion. Thats where I got to know John. What a great visit and one I'll always remember. I thank God for that reunion and I'll always remember it fondly. RIP cousin. I'm glad we had that little time together.
