Joyce Repp, of Massapequa Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 8, 2023.

She was predeceased by her husband Vincent W. Repp and is survived by her daughters Judith Grant (Repp), Laura Finan (Repp), Jennifer McAndrews (Repp), and Carolyn Repp, her six grandchildren Keith Lindros, Aubrey Lindros, Katy Grant, Tracy McAndrews, Connor McAndrews, and Rachael Finan, as well as four great-grandchildren.

Joyce was a member of St. Rose of Lima church and was part of the original “Wagon Wheeler” parishioners who were members of the church when mass was held in the old restaurant. For sixty years she resided in Massapequa Park, participating in Homemakers groups and sewing clubs and singing in the St. Rose choir. She was an avid china painter and knitter before becoming a clerk for Avis Car Rental and finally realizing her dream of becoming a travel agent and sharing her love of travel – cruising in particular – with others. Her family has inherited her love of ocean voyages.

After retiring to North Carolina, Joyce continued her gift of making friends wherever she was and engaging in her favorite pastime: sipping a cup of tea and sharing life stories with friends and family.

Joyce was 93 years old and still sharing stories and planning her next cruise at the time of her passing.
