Kathryn Anne Vahldieck, a longtime Massapequa Park resident on December 24, 2023. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Wayne A. Vahldieck. Devoted mother of Sandra Cusano (Jeremy), Todd Vahldieck (Sloan) and Alex Vahldieck (Kristin). Adored grandmother of Kayla, Troy, Samantha, Bridget, Peter, Sophia and Brayden. Loving sister of Gary, Richard and Robert. Kathryn worked for many years with her beloved husband running their business, LeafGuard Gutters. Reposing at Massapequa Funeral Home, North Chapel, 1050 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park, NY on Thursday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Religious Service Friday 10am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

I was very fortunate to have had such a wonderful cousin in my life . Growing up I would go with my Dad early Sunday mornings to see her and my cousins . I am so sorry to learn of my cousin Kathryn's passing, she was truly special. As adults we did not see each other as often as we wished, sadly that is true of so many families. Kathryn always held a special place in my parents heart and in mine also. I cherish the memories of the times we spent at each other's house when we were kids and teenagers. Good times, loud, funny and full of love. We were lucky, we had terrific parents who showed us the way. Sometimes a little sterner that we liked, but always with or best interest in mind and full of love. I always smile when I think of her and will forever hear how she called my name as only she, and her mother could. It got my attention. Katheryn you and Wayne raised wonderful children. They and your grandchildren love you as you did them, unconditionally, You will be missed, never forgotten and always held in many a heart.
