Keith William Gorton, 49, a life-long resident of Massapequa, passed away at home on May 19th, 2024, after a courageous three-year battle with brain cancer.

Born on November 29th, 1974, Keith was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Catherine (nee Fallon), and their two children: Colin (age 9) and Bridget (age 6). He is also survived by his beloved parents, Maureen and George, his brother Sean, sister-in-law Lauren, and nieces Melinda and Brielle, as well as nephew Derek.

 

The Gorton family will hold services at Massapequa Funeral Home in the South chapel on Thursday, May 23rd, from 4-8 PM, and on Friday, May 24th, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will take place at 10:45 AM on Saturday, May 25th, at St. William the Abbot in Seaford.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to SIBS Place, a program that supports children ages 5-17 who have a sibling or parent with cancer. Colin and Bridget have greatly benefited from being part of this wonderful organization.

Keith was deeply loved and will be forever remembered.
