Lori Jean Mazzarella of Massapequa, NY, age 70, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025. She was a devoted wife of nearly 40 years to her husband Michael, a loving mother to her sons Michael and Nicholas and mother-in-law to Kimberly, and a proud “Grammy” to her granddaughter Nora.

The beloved daughter of the late Grace and John Small, Lori is survived by her siblings Karen, Jack (Marilyn), Kerrie (Ken), and Bobby (Joyce). She was a loving sister-in-law to Anthony (Carole), Christine, Joanne (Jim), and Linda (Marc), and doting aunt to her many nieces, nephews, and their children.

Lori will be remembered for her strength, positivity, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

Mike,Michael and Nick I am so sorry Lori was one of my first friends I met I will miss her dearly. I think of all the times we had when the kids were small. The laughs and the way she told stories especially 9pm when Michael had his banana! I can hear her voice telling me. She was the kindest person and never said no to anyone if they needed anything. I know the last few years were rough but I never heard her complain. I will miss her and treasure the friendship we had. Laura
