Lorraine McNamara, nee Stalzer, born May 29, 1950 passed away on March 26, 2025.  Lorraine grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa and graduated from Linehan High School.  In 1969 after graduation she attended Airline School in Kansas City and got a job with TWA, as a reservations agent, and moved to New York City.  She met Kenneth McNamara, a Police Officer with the NYPD.  They wed on April 22, 1972 and lived in Jackson Heights, Queens until 1977 when they moved to Massapequa, Long Island.  They had two children, a son Christopher (born 1978) and a daughter Lisa (born 1981), both are graduates of Massapequa High School.  She worked for TWA until 1978 when her son was born.  In 1995, she returned to work in the Travel Industry at Travel Impressions, after being a stay at home mom where she was a terrific Mother.

In 2010 Lisa married Thad Alberti.  They have four children, Cooper, Matilda, Emilia and Beckett.  They were the light of her life.  Lorraine was always a loving and caring Wife, Mother and Nana who adored her Husband, Children and Grandchildren and was happiest whenever the entire family was together, especially at the holidays.

Besides her immediate family she was also survived by a sister, Teresa Buffington, and a brother, Keith Stalzer, both of Marshalltown, Iowa.
