In the spring of 1957 a 27 year old Peruvian Merchant Seaman without formal education named Luis Flores arrived in the Port of Baltimore where he left on weekend pass to visit some friends up in New York City. His friends convinced him to stay and that was the beginning of an adventure that saw him marry a wonderful woman, Lois, build a business, have two loving children and ultimately achieve the American Dream. He passed away at the ripe old age of 94. He is survived by his children Patricia & Peter, daughter-in-law Katy, son-in-law David and three grandchildren Olivia, Caroline and Amelia.
