Shirley and her family left a message on December 24, 2017:
Our mother, Shirley, was Margaret's table mate on the Green Unit at Daughters of Sarah. They liked to talk to each other and share stories of living in Astoria. Mom really missed Margaret when she was moved to a different unit and was very sad to hear that she had passed. We send condolences from our family to yours.

My friend, Joyce and I knew Margaret when we lived at Coburg Village. We moved away but reconnected nearly two years ago at Daughters of Sarah where Joyce resides. Always a warm, friendly and giving lady, may Margaret rest in peace. My sympathy to all of her children to whom she was devoted.

My sincere condolences to the family. Margaret was one of the most giving to other people while I knew her at the village. It was my pleasure to help her with work orders. she always had a smile though I knew she was not feeling well, I have missed her since she left and think of her when I pass her apartment. I will always remember her.
