Marie Tramontana
1926 – 2025

Marie Tramontana, the beloved matriarch of our family, was called home to the Lord on February 15, 2025, at the age of 98. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Emil, and many cherished family members who have gone before her.

Marie’s life was one of love, faith, and devotion to her family. She is survived by her four daughters, Janet, Doreen, Patricia, and Lisa, son-in laws Vito, Charlie, and Bob, as well as her 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Affectionately known as “Mrs. T,” Marie was a beloved figure at Birch Lane Elementary School, where she greeted students, parents, and staff with a smile for many years. Her presence at the front desk made the school a more welcoming place, and she was dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of every child who walked through its doors.

With her signature cotton candy hair and timeless beauty, Marie radiated kindness and grace. Her love for cooking was legendary, and her cherished recipes and traditions will live on for generations to come. A devoted parishioner of St. Rose of Lima for 64 years, she attended daily Mass, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and volunteered at the St. Rose Bazaar in her earlier years, always giving of herself to her faith and community.

The love Marie shared with her family was immeasurable. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was more than a grandmother—she was their “Gram,” “Gramcracker”, “Mimi” and “Macma”. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever watch over those she loved.

Marie’s legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
