Marlene Gowen, born February 7, 1935, passed away on March 23,2020. Marlene was the beloved wife of Robert Gowen, with their loving marriage lasting over 64 years. Together they were blessed with four children, (shown with their spouses): Joanne (John), Steve (JoAnne), Dennis and Ken (Greg).

Marlene was also a loving grandmother to Dan, Amanda, Jennifer, Michael, Christina, Sara and Sean. She also leaves 5 great-grandchildren. Marlene is also survived by her brother Joseph Switzer and his wife Mary. She was predeceased by her sister Judith Campbell.

Marlene had many chapters to her life, including working in the insurance industry, owning her own business and being an avid investor. She also enjoyed attending the theater and traveling.

Due to the current health conditions, funeral services will be private. The family prefers no flowers at this time. A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held at a later date.
