Nelson J. Cacciabaudo, DDS, of Wantagh, NY, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2022, at the age of 88. Devoted husband of Adele for 62 years. Loving father of Jean (Bill) and Charles (Jennifer). Beloved grandfather of Julia, Sophia, Marie and Charles. Loved and missed by his many brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Nelson loved laughter and family. Nelson worked as he lived, always caring for others as a dentist for over 60 years in Wantagh. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 19th, at 10:45am at St. Frances de Chantal RC Church, Wantagh. Private entombment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Northwell Health Foundation or the American Heart Association.

So very sorry for your loss we used to see Nunzio back in the early 80’s and I used the doctor in 1970’s! I am sure he’ll be missed by all! I didn’t see any mention of his brother Charles the we talked about on occasion I hope he is still living and if not condolences to his family as well!

Our hearts are broken for you all. He will be missed and remembered always, he was always so caring and generous to us and he will forever be in our hearts and our prayers.
