It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful beloved mother, Patricia Witthoeft on Monday, May 29, 2023 after a brief hospitalization of acute heart issues that interrupted an otherwise healthy, productive life.

Beloved wife of ten years to Walter Charles Witthoeft, Sr. who were also together for ten years before their marriage. Loving mother of Jacqueline Stolfi (Thomas), Michele Ledesky (Frank), Gerald Michael LaGuardia. Devoted grandmother of Jessica, Thomas, Jack, Michael, Joseph and Olivia. Dear sister of Louis Vitarelli (Candace, late Barbara), and loving aunt of Michael (Dana), Helen Garramone (Joseph), Christa Milazzo (John).

Patricia Witthoeft was born in The Boulevard Hospital in Long Island City on June 11, 1943 to Pasquale and Marie Vitarelli. At 12 years of age the family moved from Astoria, Queens to Massapequa, New York where she remained for the rest of her days. Patricia lived a full and active life as a working woman and in her free time she volunteered at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York and Nassau BOCES Rosemary Kennedy Center in Wantagh, New York. Patricia was a very social person and always made time for her family and friends. She was an active member of St. William the Abbot Parish for sixty-eight years. Patricia will be greatly missed by all.
