Played basketball and football with Ray in my senior year, along with Charlie Grimm (later my brother-in-law) and remember the ride home after away basketball games. It was laugh after laugh and guessing if any girls would be waiting for us?? The memories come to life after news like this is delivered. In High School, I sat next to Ray in physics class. He was a most enjoyable partner. I've seen him a few times since at reunions and we always enjoyed joking about the old days.
