Tom and I want to express our heartfelt sorrow. Unfortunately we had never met Richard, however, Maddy expressed many wonderful memories Ryan's grandfather. We are blessed to have Ryan as our son in law and the kind and caring character of Richard move forward with his grandson's attributes. Our sincere condolences from Canada.

My sincere condolences regarding the passing of my good friend Rich. Dick and I first met During the late '40s in catechism classes at St. Mary's Church in Valley Stream, where both our fathers were members and friends at the KofC. We remained close friends all through junior and senior high school years and teammates on many of the school teams; football, basketball, baseball, some occasional golf, etc. Rich then on to RPI, me to the USN, our contact became limited to high school reunions. It wasn't until a 2016 Florida reunion when we became close once again, with so much in common; engineering, construction, sports, politics, etc. We so much enjoyed reminiscing. His obituary described him perfectly - a BEAUTIFUL individual.

Deepest condolences to Pat and his extended family. Dick was an inseparable friend from our days at VS Central High, where we shared countless adventures together. He was also my roomie and fraternity brother at RPI. We managed to stay connected during our adult lives. He was my go-to guy to discuss the plight of the Giants and Mets. We have all lost a very valued and trusted individual. Fritz Bauer

Sending my deepest condolences on the loss of such a beautiful soul. I’ll never forget the kindness Mr. & Mrs. Owens should me when several of us (Chris’ teammates) slept at their house for a lacrosse game in college. Over the years he always checked on us through Chris. We couldn’t ask for no better angel to look upon us now.
