I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing, the last of that generation from Brooklyn. I have fond memories of his warmth and sense of humor at family gatherings. He gifted me a ciborium when I became a Eucharistic Minister, which I treasure. May God bless him and provide comfort to the family at this difficult time

What can one say about Mr. C ? He was the Mayor of First Ave and one of the Elders of the block . Always the first one there whenever anyone needed help ! When the newer people moved in and asked about things like whether they took garbage the next day I always told them "I still look and see what Mr. C does , if he has his pails out then it's good " ! Always a smile and a wave , one of the true , First Ave Legends . Rest Easy Mr. C , You'll be missed .

I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I met him 4 years ago and he always had a smile on his face. I looked forward to his weekly trips into keyfood and talking to him and the rest of family.
