Robert C Birney passed peacefully in the presence of his loving family on May 15, 2021.
Robert was born in Queens, NY to Ingrith and Robert C Birney on November 6,
1939. Robert (“Splash”) was graduated from Erasmus Hall High School where he was a member of the dive team. He served honorably while enlisted in the US Navy and US Navy Reserves. While serving his country he achieved the rank of Seaman, Aviation Electrician’s Mate Airman. Robert devoted his life and love to family and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Ingrith and Robert, sister Janet, wife Maureen, Teresa Birney and Joseph Wing.
Bobby is survived by his daughter Dawn Martins, sons Scott Birney, William Birney, Timothy Birney and members of his family, Laura Marks, Kenny Wing, their spouses, many Grand-Children and Great-Grand-Children.
