I wanted to pass on my deepest condolences to the Grasso family and friends. I personally did not know Tommy but I've heard wonderful things about him through one of Transit PD groups.
Find comfort and keep hope in knowing that there is going to be a resurrection and you will have the opportunity to see Tommy again, and others whom you have lost in the past.
1Thessalonians reads:
For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.
Isaiah 33:24 reads:
And no resident will say; "I am sick."

Dear Steven and family, Thomas is a strong name. I'm sure he was a strong man, judging by Steven's strength of character. May the God of all comfort bring you peace.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort we ourselves are comforted of God. I Corinthians 1:3-9
