Roseanne, my name is Joe Buss. I served in the Navy with Monte on the Forrestal. If I needed to talk with someone, Monte was always there. He would talk about his girlfriend Roseanne and I would talk about my girlfriend Sandy. He was my best friend. I’m sorry to hear about his passing. I wish we could’ve stayed in touch over the years. I was discharged in 1966 before he was discharged so I am assuming he was there during the Forrestal fire in 1967. So I am offering my condolences to you and your family God bless Monte And God bless you sincerely Joe Buss.
