Michele Paliseno left a message on July 2, 2025:
How lucky am I that Vinny Cullinan was my dad? He was a hard working man who loved his family deeply. He was a man that got up at 3am every morning to drive his Entenmann's truck without ever a complaint that he was tired. He was a man of integrity and and family values. He had high expectations of his 3 kids. He expected us to "be good kids" work hard at whatever it was we were involved in, school, sports, and later, in our own careers. If you are going to do something, you better do it well and with all you've got because that's what he emulated to us. Whilst he may not have been quick to dole out the compliments, if you told him about an accomplishment and received from him "Well, you got my branch" you knew he was pleased. My mom Mary was the love of his life and he spent his life working hard so she could "have nice things." There is nothing he wouldn't do for her, or anyone in his life. If you needed anything at all, Vinny is who you called. His 7 grandchildren were his greatest joy and Poppy gave the greatest hugs, laughs and jokes to make them all feel special. My dad loved to watch the horse races and would often say to us if we ever complained about life, ailments or what have you, "Well they shoot horses." It was his way of saying, get back on your feet and carry on. One day recently my dad saw me in pain from my back injury and asked me if I was ok. I turned to him and said "Well Dad, they shoot horses." And he said to me... "Yeah, but not thoroughbreds " It was the greatest compliment I have ever received and I will never forget you dad. I love you.xo
