Ciao Delfina So sorry I couldn’t come for the last goodbye! We shared so much during this life! We were so young when we came to America We worked hard and through thick and thin we built families and successful lives for ourselves. Where did all this time go? Life also gave you the joy to become a great grandma! You will leave forever in my heart and forever I will remember you with a big smile and a great heart! Rest in peace my dear Delfina. We will meet again. Love you forever….Bianca

My dear Zia Delfina was so special to me. I cherish memories that we shared throughout our lives together from childhood to adulthood married with children, she always welcomed me and my family in her home and she loved me as if I was her child. She prepared countless feasts fit for kings and even gave up her bed to us to sleep. As a young girl, I remember going out the gate of her backyard and walking across the lot to attend mass together. Her faith was unwavering and inspiring. I remember spending days on end at the beaches on Long Island, spending countess holidays at Monte Carlo and Delfina’s and spending weekends at her loving home with my Uncle John who would give me a nickel for each “capriccio” and my close cousins Anna, John and Barbara. Later in life, hardly a visit in Florida passed without driving up to see her in WPB with my mom, who also loved her dearly. She lost the love of her life, my dear Uncle John early in her life and despite her great loss, she carried on with strength, love and joy, cherishing her family and friends. I hope to never lose the memory of the sound of her joyful voice and her contagious laughter. My sweet Zia Delfina lived a life that shined Christ’s light, a life of love, kindness and generosity, a life that I am certain is pleasing to our Lord God. If we all could live a life of love and kindness like she has, if we ask for forgiveness of our sins and we follow Christ like she has, then we can all look forward to rejoicing with her in Heaven when we too are called. Anna and John, John and Lisa, Barbara and Mike, Deanna,Tori, Mike and Sophia, Christina, Jaclyn and Joseph, Joseph, John, Lauren and Micheal, I pray for solace and peace and assurance in your hearts knowing she is in Heaven. I am with you in spirit as you lay her to rest. My deepest sympathy and love to you all, Joanne
