Erik made coming into work in our god forsaken crazy hours pleasurable. Erik brought humor and knowledge to the job which made each day go by that much easier. Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of Erik. Mikey has the privilege of having played on the original Longhorns team with him from a very young age, and from the beginning, we watched Erik grow the team into a full organization. In later years we watched as we brought Mikey to baseball practices as a full sense of proudness would just come over me each and every time I saw all those kids running and practicing knowing that Erik and your family did this. I was just so proud of him. He was a tough coach in all the right ways, instilling discipline, strength, and perseverance in the kids, helping them through not just the game, but life’s challenges too and we wouldn’t of wanted it any other way. Erik had a big heart and always wanted everyone to enjoy themselves on and off the field. He brought fun, passion, and a sense of family to everything he did. And always had the funniest things to say. Bella and Mikey are so lucky to be apart and so close to your family and share such extremely close bond with your children. We will all miss Erik.You and Erik have built such a strong family. Know he will always be around you watching over your family being the proud father he was. With love and our deepest sympathy,
