Gloria Thorsen of Massapequa, NY, passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born February 14, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Zion Lutheran Church, went to Hunter College & graduated with a teaching degree. She married the love of her life, Even Thorsen in 1956. They were married for 56 years. Gloria loved her family, her church, her cat Callie Mae, playing piano, reading, cardinals, butterflies and the color purple.
She was predeceased by her husband Even Thorsen and her daughter in law Maribel Moreira. She is survived by her children Lila Bisig (Ed), Eric Thorsen (Yuan Yuan Yan), Gary Thorsen & Susan Thorsen (Michael Weissman), Janet Lubeck and her grandchildren, Hannah, Kristen, Evan, Jeanne (Kristen Zeh), Andrew, Elizabeth, Bo and Cate.
