Dear Trisha, Roger, Scott and family, We can’t begin to express our deepest condolences to you all for the loss of your beloved mother, “Aunt Marie”. Her kindness, compassion and grace will always be remembered by anyone blessed to have known her. Her inviting personality displayed an immediate warmth that wrapped around you like a blanket embracing a child. I can vividly recall the holidays spent at Aunt Marie and Uncle Richard’s house. The cousins playing in the basement, Aunt Marie’s beautiful Christmas Village and decorations, and of course her sewing porch full of beautiful projects created by her extraordinary talent! I feel extremely grateful to have had her as my Aunt! The thing I will miss most is hearing her say “Honey” at the beginning, middle or end of our long heartfelt conversations. Aunt Marie’s strength, resilience and determination are admired by all. Aunt Marie will be missed very much, may she rest in peace always! With much love, Deborah, Nate, Jake, and Luke

I will always have fond memories of visiting my Aunt Sissy growing up. She was such a special person, always creating beautiful things. As a little girl, I loved being in her house and exploring her crafting room and all the amazing things she sewed. I am so glad my children all got to meet Aunt Sissy and experience her kindness and generosity over the years. They often refer to her as the “best pie maker in the world" and we will always have cherished memories of spending time together. My condolences to Scott, Roger and Trish and their families - may you find peace and strength in the memories of her love and the joy she brought to so many.

Marie(sissy) was a quiet, unassuming person. She was a good daughter, devoted wife , mother , grandmother, sister and friend. She lived a good and full life. She cared for her family in all ways. She loved to cook , was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed tending to her flowers. I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace big sister 🙏✝️
