You came into our lives when you met our daughter Marissa. Watching you fight so hard this terrible sickness was heartbreaking. However, you kept going like the Eveready Bunny. Thank you for coming into our lives and showing us your strength and love. Miss you, Cip & Tania Piriz

That night you took your last breath I took one with you. As hard as it was to watch,it was the first night in a long time I watched you sleep peacefully finally free of any pain. Saying goodbye to someone so close is never easy but watching you suffer was so much harder. So many good times and many many years of memories makes it easy to smile every time I think of you. You were an amazing special friend and a blessing to my kids. They adored you like everyone else did and you will always be remembered and honored as you should. You will forever be there bald uncle mike and now there guardian angel to them both as we talked about. Love you always as my brother and best friend I will forever miss you PD

You will be greatly missed my dear friend. When you first received your diagnosis we pledged to see each other on the first tee when you beat this insidious disease. That was not to be but it wasn't due to lack of fight. You fought your ass off mike. And in doing so you taught us all an invaluable lesson. You never ever give up. Even in the bleakest hour you never gave up. Go easy now my friend and may you now rest in peace. Next time I tee it up you'll be with me in spirit. We will play that final 18. Maybe I'll finally out drive you :)
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I remember our first meeting for some reason every nurse was scared to walk into your room lol so finally I was asked to see if you needed anything? I had mentally prepared myself for you:) but then as I came in your room as you were surrounded by your brothers in blue and said with my slight southern accent "hey I'm Tammy you looked right at me with those beautiful eyes and gave me the biggest smile. From that moment on you became my big brother my confidant my friend and now guardian angel. Thank you so much officer Urbano for coming into my life I will forever hold a special place for you in my heart.
