Robert was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country with honor in our Armed Forces. He was a very active member of the VFW and American Legion in Massapequa Park, NY. During his free time, he would spend countless hours with all of his friends at both locations sharing stories or just having fun, he was usually the life of the party. His time in the military installed a deep sense of patriotism and a strong work ethic, which he carried with him throughout his life. He always found time to march in any patriotic holiday parade and wore his pride on his sleeve.
Robert will be remembered for his kind heart, big smile, love for his family and friends, service to his country, and unwavering dedication to those he cared about.
He lived a wonderful life traveling with family and his many friends and loved his countless trips to Atlantic City, where most times he would come back just with his big smile and a great story.
