Albert Morabito, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and esteemed member of the community, passed away on March 15th, 2024, in Melville, NY. He was born on August 8th, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to loving parents Albert and Louise.
Albert dedicated 40 years of his life to serving and protecting the people of New York City as a veteran of the NYPD, where he rose to the rank of Sergeant in Highway #3 in Queens before his retirement in 2006. His commitment to duty and unwavering dedication to keeping his community safe will always be remembered and cherished.
On December 1st, 1973, Albert married the love of his life, Antoinette, who preceded him in death. Their union was blessed with three children. Albert is survived by his sons Peter and Paul, and his daughter Amanda, his daughter-in-law Edith, his grandson Nicholas, his granddaughter Adrianna, and his grandson Vincent. His family was his pride and joy and his love for them knew no bounds.
Albert Morabito’s presence will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered and cherished. May his legacy live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and may he rest in eternal peace.
